Why Learn to Scuba Dive with Submerged?
The Open Water Diver Course is the first and most important step in becoming a diver. If you want to really enjoy scuba diving, you need to know what you are doing and be comfortable and confident doing it. Our instructors are passionate about diving, and they really care that you get started right so that you can enjoy diving as much as we do!
With our unique training techniques, your skills at the end of the Open Water Diver Class will be better than many seasoned divers. We have a training process that will enable you to have amazing buoyancy control, effortless propulsion techniques, and complete control over your equipment.
You will start out in the classroom, so you have some good background knowledge, and can effectively plan your dives. Most of your training, though, will be in the water (pool and open water) practicing and mastering your skills and getting comfortable.
When our students finish up their training, they are so excited to go diving again, whether it's locally or to an exotic dive destination. Several students have joined the Submerged Club to connect with other divers in the area and do more diving. So when you finish your training, you'll have a ready-made group to dive with when you want!
We understand how valuable time is for our divers in Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland, so we have designed the easiest, most convenient scheduling options possible. How do our rates compare?
We have researched the rates offered at other dive shops in the region, and found that we are at or even below the rates that other shops are offering. When you take into consideration the amount of face-time and in-water time with your instructor, our value is much greater.
