February 27 - March 6, 2022
We couldn’t go on a honeymoon right after our wedding because of work, so we’ve planned it for February 2022, and we want you to come along! Maybe it sounds a bit unusual, but we just love our Submerged family so much, we thought it would be much more fun to do it as a Submerged trip.
We are staying at the Grand Roatan Resort and diving with West Bay Divers. Even if you're not a diver, the Grand Roatan Resort is lovely, and there are other activities on Roatan to enjoy, so this trip will be perfect for non-divers, too. The suites are all tucked into the hillside, beautifully furnished, and feature private balconies. There is a lovely pool with a swim up bar and a nice sandy beach for relaxing. Enjoy a meal at the resort's beachside restaurant, "Iron Shore Grill", or take a short stroll down the beach to one of the many other restaurants along West Bay Beach.
The dive shop is conveniently located at the resort, and the staff is so attentive - you will not have to lift a finger to set up, break down, or clean your scuba gear. The boat leaves from the resort, the boat ride are short, the dive sites are beautiful. Roatan has one been one of our favorite destinations and we are so excited to be going back!
The journey to Roatan is super simple. American Airlines, United, and Delta all offer one-stop flights right into Roatan (RTB). Upon arrival, a complimentary shuttle will take you directly to the resort.
