Grand Cayman is home to some spectacular diving. All divers should experience diving the Cayman Islands at some point. The sheer walls, colorful reefs, and abundant fish life make it a must-see destination. No matter what your level of diving, this trip is perfect for you. 

East End is on the “quiet side” of Grand Cayman, away from town and Seven Mile Beach. This means fewer tourists, and reefs that are less frequently dived. The walls rival those of Little Cayman. They are more sheer and start a bit shallower than the walls on the West.

When you’re not diving, grab a lounge chair by the water, or relax by the pool or in your oceanfront condo, complete with kitchen, living area, and balcony. If you want to explore a bit, you can take a drive over to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens and see the Blue Iguanas—they are an endangered species but there’s quite an amazing recovery program that has had a lot of success in the last couple of decades. Rum Point is another nice destination for an afternoon, and not too far of a drive from Compass Pointe Resort.

For dining, popular nearby options include Eagle Ray’s Bar & Grill, Tukka, Lighthouse Restaurant, and The Italian Kitchen. Try out Miss Vivines Kitchen for native dishes. The condos are equipped with kitchens, too, so if you want to cook something up for yourself that’s also an option. 

Non divers are welcome too! Do you have a non-diver who would like to come along? Bring them! Cayman has so many activities outside of diving—relax on the gorgeous Colliers Beach, browse the local art at Wreck View Art Gallery, pay a visit to the Cayman Crystal Caves, go snorkeling, stop by the blow holes, visit the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens and see the endangered Cayman Blue Iguanas, and more.
