SCUBA SKILLS UPDATE

Has it been a while since you were last in the water? Don’t waste precious vacation time trying to get comfortable on scuba gear again—figuring out buoyancy control, remembering how to clear your mask, or worst case scenario, creating a a risky situation for yourself and your dive buddy! Scuba Diving, though fun, can be a potentially hazardous situation if you don’t remember basic personal skills or how to plan your dives. A Scuba Skills Update is a convenient way to refresh yourself on all of the important stuff before your next dive adventure.

This program is also appropriate and required for any Open Water students who have had a gap of over 6 months in their training prior to completing their certification.

Student review materials - $45

• Lifetime access to online course materials to be reviewed prior to in-person session. Can be completed on www.divessi.com or via the MySSI app.
• Classroom knowledge review
• Dry runs
• Pool session to review skills typically learned in an open water diver course
• Any gear needed (recommended to bring your own gear if you have it so you can refamiliarize yourself with it) Submerged will provide any other gear needed.
• Completion Certificate to show as proof of having completed the Scuba Skills Update. Digital certificate can be saved in your MySSI profile.

Minimum age: 12
Prerequisite: Open Water certification from a recognized training agency
