Belize - April 18-25, 2026

This will be our second visit to Blackbird Caye Resort. The first time was absolutely incredible, so we just HAD to go back. It's 30 miles offshore from the mainland, and ask anybody who went last time...it's worth the journey. Blackbird Caye is a private island on the Turneffe Atoll. It's a little 17 room resort, with all oceanfront accommodations, a restaurant, and a bar...and that's pretty much it! I booked the entire resort, so it will be all Submerged! We will be picked up from the airport, and then transported to a marina where we will then take a boat ride from the mainland the resort.

You can kick off your shoes when we get there, and not put them back on until we leave! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with spectacular reefs, this is the trip for you. This is the trip where you can unplug. Lay in the hammock, watch the sunset, relax in the pool...and enjoy some of the best reefs in the Caribbean...and I promise you, you'll see more stars at night than you've ever seen before.

Since it's a quite a ways off shore, it's far less dived than other reefs in the more populated areas of Belize, so the reefs are in excellent condition and the reef life is great. We saw reef sharks, turtles, stingrays, loads of reef fish, and even dolphins on our last trip!!

The food is absolutely delicious. We will enjoy a scrumptious buffet breakfast to start the day, hearty snacks during the surface interval, a buffet lunch, evening hors d'oeuvres, and then a gourmet dinner. Alcohol is not included.

All accommodations are oceanfront and have private bathrooms, balconies, and air conditioning. 

The dive package includes: 

• 3 single tank boat dives per day (since the boat rides are so short!) 
• A special excursion to Half Moon Caye for some SPECTACULAR dives including Half Moon Caye Wall & the Aquarium. Plus a delicious Beach BBQ lunch
• The Witconcrete Wreck Dive
• The Elbow Dive special day excursion followed by Nature Trails at Calabash Caye (and a special lunch!)

Snorkelers/Nondivers can enjoy two guided snorkel trips per day

Nitrox is an additional $90 for the week
