NO WATER NEEDED SCUBA DIVING CLASSES

These classes do not require any dives, so you can keep learning no matter what time of year, no matter what the weather! These classes result in certification.

Enriched Air Nitrox - a breathing gas that all divers should know how to use safely - increase your bottom time or decrease your nitrogen absorption

Ecology Classes - Enhance your diving experience by furthering your understanding of the flora and fauna of underwater world by taking an ecology class. These classes are great for budding photographers or divers who just want to know what they're looking at! 

Science of Diving - Get into the nitty gritty of diver physics and physiology. Knowledge is power!

Everybody should be able to use Nitrox. It's a great breathing gas, especially for dives between 60-100ft. It's inexpensive to buy and is widely available.

Knowing what you're looking at and how or why things are interacting adds a whole new facet to visiting the underwater world. Learn about mutualism, commensalism, predator-prey relationships. Learn about how and where to observe these interactions on your dives.

Because it's so much more fun when you know what "that" fish is...you know, the fish shaped one...with the tail...that was swimming around! You will learn how to identify several families and individual species of fish. You will also learn how to differentiate between some species of fish that closely resemble each other.

Take the Science of Diving specialty if you want to get into the nitty gritty of diver physics and physiology. This is also a prerequisite for Divemaster.
